Chris is in my thoughts often. I remember her making my girls and I some awesome grilled cheese sandwiches, cutting our hair in her house and the straight forward manner in which she spoke with truth, honesty and tons of love! So many wonderful memories!! Chris spoke of her children often and know they were very loved ! She is missed and held close in my heart.

My mom was a complete inspiration as many of you know. I still remeber coming home from school and she'd tell us to wash "the school" off our hands. She taught me how to love and accept love. I know she will be watching over mt family and I, look for the bald eagle. Remeber her when she was vibrant and full of life. I love you mom forever and always

Those of us who had Chris as a leader in Weight Watchers often said we would gladly pay our weekly fee just to see and hear Chris; she was such an 'up' person, very caring, with a natural sense of humor. We loved her! She will remain in our thoughts. Our sympathies to you, her family, on your loss; may her wonderful spirit live on in your lives.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I remember so well those days at the Unadilla Elementary School when Chris would "bound" into my office........... always smiling and filled with enthusiasm. .....and always wanting the best for her kids. Nothing was more important to her than her family. I hope it won't be too long before your hearts are filled with joyous memories that make you smile. Chris would want that. Dear Mary and family,
So sorry for your loss. Chris was an angel on earth and is now truly an angel in heaven. We went back a long time to when Mary and Chris owned and worked the diner in Franklin. Whenever Tony and I went up to the property (back in the 1980's) in Franklin we always enjoyed our visits with you at the diner and our friendship was special. May you all find comfort in knowing how many share your loss and how Chris touched so many lives with her smile and wonderful, sweet ways. She will be missed.

Vinny, Frank, Mike and Julie, I first met Chris formally in 1999 when we worked together with others on the Unatego Y2K project - creating a district-wide "time" project for the students to participate in. Over the years thereafter our paths crossed many times. She was always so pleasant and upbeat and complimentary! I last saw her just after she started working at the new hair salon in Oneonta - she was so proud of herself for going back to school and back to work! She was a strong, courageous, and kind person! May she always be remembered and may the memory of her inspire all of you and all others who knew her to live life as she did - good, kind and courageous.

For me, Chris was the constant. Always a smile and cheerleader. Whenever you approached her she lit up and asked all she could and always gave her opinion, which I truly loved. All those that attended her exercise class, experienced the drive and support that exuded.I will miss her and am so glad to have had her in my life. God bless you ,Chris! Robin Ballo, Unadilla

Chris was a great friend to me as we raised our children together. We shared many playdates, lunches and adventures with our fellow "desperate housewives" over the years. We celebrated the ups and downs of our family and friends and solved many of lifes crazy puzzles over late night cups of coffee. I will treasure these memories and her friendship for all of my days until we meet again.........godspeed Chris! love and prayers to Mary, Vinny, Frank, Mike and Juli............
