Clara Bell Welborn Blair, age 83, of Trinity, died on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 3:15am at Davidson County hospice House and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Blair was born in Guilford County on April 10, 1929 to George and Emma Bodenhamer Welborn.
She is survived by a son "Pete" Charles Monroe Swaim and wife Fay of Kernersville; granddaughter, Angela Gail Swaim Morgan and husband Brian of Archdale; Grandson, "Pete" Charles Monroe Swaim Jr. and wife Erin McDowell of Thomasville; great grandchildren, Chandler Blake Swaim and Ashlyn Nicole Swaim; sisters, Barbara Asbill of Trinity and the late Abbigail Welborn; nieces and nephew and their children; Debbie Kelly Morgan and husband Steve of Staley and their girls; Heather of Peru and Ashely of Staley; Tammie Martin Tucker and husband Melvin and their kids Candice and Martin of Thomasville.
Tommy Kelly and wife Beverly and their boys Jason and Thomas of Trinity. She was twice married and predeceased by her husbands and a nephew. Her first husband was Charles Wayland Swaim who died in 1977. Her second husband was Gilbert L. Blair and a nephew Bobby Junior Owens,II.
She was one of a kind who never met a stranger. She was well loved by family and friends. Clara was a true Nascar fan and her all time favorite was Dale Earnhardt.
