Cleopatra "Pat" Arnoutis, 92, passed away on December 29, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born May 29, 1921 in Nashua, NH to Peter and Zoe (Gakis) Stylianos.
She was one of seven children who have all preceded her in death. She graduated from Nashua High School and then attended nursing school at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Pat married James M Arnoutis on October 31, 1948 in Nashua, NH and they were married almost 50 years. Pat worked as a surgical nurse for Dr. McGahee and Dr.Foley and later went to work at the Bank of New Hampshire as the executive assistant to the Branch Manager.
She served as the choir director and chanter at the St George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester NH. Pat was a member of the Anagenessis Ladies Society. She also sang with the Manchester Choral Society. Pat enjoyed and was an avid golfer and was a member of the Manchester Country Club and the NH Women's Golf Association. Pat moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2000 to be closer to her daughter and grandsons. While in Jacksonville she was in the choir at St John Divine Greek Orthodox Church for many years
She will be missed dearly by her loving daughter Nina Arnoutis Appleby (Herb); her grandsons James Raymond Appleby and John Peter Appleby; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held from noon to 1PM Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at St George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. Funeral Services followed at 1:00 pm in the Cathedral. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
