Clifford Ashing, 81, of Fort Smith, passed away Sunday October 24, 2010. He was born December 5, 1928 in Peno, OK to Joe and Tiny Ashing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clifton Daggs officiating. Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery near Spiro, OK under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by one sister Dorothy DeWitt of Fort Smith, AR and one brother Joe Ed Ashing of Tulsa, OK.
Pallbearers will be Joe Ed Ashing, Clarence DeWitt, Patrick Green, Wendell Gilbert and L. C. White.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26, 2010, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
