Concetta "Connie," 91, of Union City, passed away on November 18, 2012. Born in Ragusa, Sicily, Concetta emigrated to New York in 1923. She lived in New Jersey, Georgia and Panama before settling back in New Jersey in 1957.
Concetta was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1994. She is survived by daughter Louise Albertalli and husband Roy of Berkeley Heights, daughter Mary Ann Mitten and husband Michael of Clifton and daughter Jo Ann Dow-Breslin and husband James of West Milford; loving grandchildren Roy Albertalli, Debra Mitten, Michele Mitten and Stacey McGovern; and great-grandchildren Brian, Caitlyn, Shaelyn and Brendan McGovern and Austin Albertalli.
The funeral will be on Wednesday November 21, 2012 from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Leber Funeral Home in Union City then to Our Lady of Libera Church in West New York where at 11am a mass will be offered. Interment will follow at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Concetta's memory to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey would be appreciated.
