Cornelia Taylor "Connie" Anthony, 82, of Culpeper, VA passed away in Prince William Hospital, Manassas, VA, Friday, March 30, 2012. Connie was born to Thomas M. Taylor and Elizabeth Wray Taylor March 21, 2012 in Rochester, NY; graduated from Overland College and then Boston College of Occupational Therapy; was a member of the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, the D.A.R., the Woman's Club of Culpeper, the Silver Seniors and the Culpeper Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed weaving, bowling and playing bridge.
Surviving Mrs. Anthony are her children, Charles Thomas Anthony and his sweetheart Marcia of Manassas Park, VA, Julia Taylor Anthony of Manassas Park and Elizabeth Anthony Wright and her husband Timothy of Manassas, VA; her grandchildren, Timothy and Jillian Wright, both of Manassas; her sister, Julia Clemens and her husband Dr. Norman "Drew" Clemens of Cleveland, OH; her sister-in-law, Dr. Glendora Taylor of Denver, CO; her niece and nephew, Linda Fisher of Kenmore, NY and Dr. Jack Fisher and his wife Patricia of LaJolla, CA. She, also, has a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John C. Anthony and her brother Thomas M. Anthony, II.
Funeral services will be held in the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Wayne R. Bernardo conducting the service. Interment will be in the Culpeper National Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00p.m. at the Clore-English Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions should be given to the American Cancer Society, or to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Society.
