Curtis Andrew Dills Jr, 83, of Athens, GA passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013.
A native of Homer, GA, Mr. Dills was the son of the late Curtis Andrew Dills Sr and Janie Whitlock Dills and was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Allen Dills. He retired as on E-9 Sergeant from the United States Army after 22 years of service and also retired from Kendall Paper Products.
Survivors include daughter, Denise Moore of Tampa, FL; sons, Curtis Morell of Wurzburg, Germany, John Jones of Cambria, CA, and Tom Jones of Melborne, FL; 2 brothers; 6 sisters; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, February 2nd in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Brewer and Dr. Bill Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1-3PM prior to the service at Bernstein.
