Donald Otis Sager, 86, of Bunker Hill, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born June 20, 1927 in Kernstown, VA, he is the son of the late William B. and Dorothy F. Sager.
He was a member of Paynes Chapel United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Men, The Lions Club, and Freemasons Triluminar Lodge No. 117 AF & AM.
He was a Fireman First Class in the US Navy serving on the USS Randolph and retired from the VA Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Courtney, William, and Theodore, sisters, Virginia Smallwood, Juanita Hutzler, and Rhoda Kline.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Sarah E. (Cameron) Sager; two daughters, Dorothy Grove, and her husband John, and Rebecca Liskey, and her fiancé Thomas Kane, all of Bunker Hill; one sister, Marie Mathias of Williamsburg, VA; five grandchildren, Donald Grove, and his wife Elisa, Robert Grove, and his wife Jennifer, Michael Liskey, Paula Liskey, Shelley Liskey, and their father, David Liskey.
He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Alexis Kinnison, Hillary Liskey, Logan Herring, Jenna Grove, Blake Grove, and Lydia Grove.
Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Paynes Chapel UMC, 631 Avanti Drive, Bunker Hill. Pastor Gary Gourley will officiate.
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Paynes Chapel Cemetery.
