Roy Dale Ayers, 90, died January 21, 2013. He was born October 28, 1922 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to William Alexander and Laura Dale (Fowler) Ayers. He married Lou (Wooden) Ayers on March 3, 1954. Together they raised two sons, Kerry and Kenny, in Oklahoma City. Dale was a member of the Church of Christ and a WWII veteran. He was an auctioneer for many years and later sold office supplies. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and bowling. Preceded in death by his wife Lou, and his son Kenny; he is survived by his son, Kerry, along with five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 2pm at Guardian Funeral Homes West Chapel, followed by burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
