Dale George Burrier, 67, Morgantown passed away September 2 in Indianapolis. He was born December 21, 1944 in Michigan City, IN, the son of George & Bernice M. (Kniola) Burrier Klosinski.
Dale was a retired systems manager for the American Bar Association Journal. He served as past president of Valpo Tech Alumni. Dale enjoyed remodeling his & friends homes, he served as Eucharist Minister at St. Agnes, & was a member of their Building & Finance Committees. Dale enjoyed volunteering with Habitat For Humanity, St. Vincent de Paul, as well as various projects at St. Agnes, the priest house & their pews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Brown County, on Tuesday, September 11 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Weeping Willow Cemetery, Bean Blossom. A wake will be held at the church Tuesday from 9:00 -11:00 A.M.
Family & friends of Dale will also gather in Michigan City, IN. on Saturday, September 8 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the Microtel Inn, 9834 West 400 North, to remember the good times.
Survivors include his wife, Janice M. (Rockwood) Burrier, Morgantown, IN, daughters; Elizabeth (Bobby) Meek, Cataract, IN & Rebecca Wehrle (fiancé David Hutchins) Burns Harbor, IN, grandchildren; Amanda Wehrle, Chesterton, IN & Austin & Dylan Hertzberg, LaPorte, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents & his daughter, Bridget Hertzberg.
