Dan Antell, 75, of Fort Smith, died April 7, 2011 in Van Buren. He was a retired employee of Rheem Manufacturing, a member of the NRA, and a Great Outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was born January 2, 1936 in Rothschild, WI to Arthur H. and Murial Margaret Bennett Antell.
He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Gourd of Claremore, OK and Nicole Hallford of Van Buren, AR; one son, Danny Antell, Jr. of Fort Smith; two sisters, Karen Kunkel of Bremerton, WA and Sandee Orestad of Burlington, WA; three brothers, Jack Antell of Atlanta, GA., Steve Antell of Hatley, WI., and Gunnard Antell of Wausau, WI; and six grandchildren, Trent, Nick, and Rachel Antell, Alexanderia Gourd, and Tristen and Ezra Hallford.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 16th, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Cross Point Community Church in Van Buren. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
