Danny Lee Maier, 64, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Born, January 11, 1949, he was the son of Paul and Charlotte (Heflin) Maier.
Danny graduated from Guilford High School, and went on to earn his associates degree from Rock Valley College.
He married Patricia Litts on August 31, 1968. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He will be truly missed.
Survivors include his children, Karin (Kelly) Krider, Kristen (Lee) Ocker, and Kimberly (John) Wallner; 6 grandchildren; mother, Charlotte (Richard) Ellena, and brother, Paul Thomas (Rebecca) Maier.
He is preceded in death by his wife, and father.
