Darlene Basham age 80 passed away peacefully at her home on September 8, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Darlene was married to the late Dennis Basham on August 19, 1955. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Elayne and a brother Daniel Kerbersky. Survivors Darlene include her daughters, Deborah Hickey, Shelia Allen, sons, James Basham and David (Terri) Basham, Michael (Yvonne) Basham, granddaughters, Amber (Jim) Johnson, Lisa Lambert and Shelly Basham; grandson Dennis Hickey and Jeremy Basham; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Pam) Kerbersky, Russell (Virginia) Kerbersky, Achel (Yvonne) Kerbersky. Darlene was employed for many years at Continental Motors. The family would like to send a special thank you to VNS Hospice and all who cared for Darlene at her home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to VNS Hospice or the American Cancer Society. To honor her wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
