David L Adkins, 68 of Titusville, FL passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2012. David was born in Beardstown, Ill and was a resident of Brevard County for the past 37 years. David also served his country in the US Army in the 101ST airborne division as a paratrooper during the Vietnam, where he achieved the rank as Sgt. He was also a member of several local organizations.
Survivors include his daughter Lisa Anne Wellington, sisters, Rita Harshbarger and Camille Adkins. He is also survived by his grandson, Dalton David Wellington and long time friend, Tim Garrett.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 am- 1 pm followed by funeral services at 1 pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, Cocoa, FL. Burial will follow at Brevard Memorial Park.
