Dave Alsup age 51 of Meehan passed away Sunday August 1, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10 am at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne
Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Meehan cemetery. Mr. Alsup was a retired field
Superintendent for Deviney Construction and he loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his
family. Survivors include his children Dana Williamson and husband John Robert, Kim Alsup and
Dustin Alsup all of Chunky. Grandchildren Caleb Rushing and Trey Williamson both of Chunky.
Mother, Annie Maudine Peavy of Meehan. Brothers Joey Alsup and wife Cathy, Richard Alsup and
Wife Sherry, Chuck Alsup and Scottie Peavy and wife Dana all of Meehan. Sisters Teresa Mills of
Chunky, Pam Freeman and Paul Pinkerton of Meehan and Cindy Alsup of Meehan. 10 Nieces and
Nephews and 6 great Nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father Lawson
Alsup, Grandson Austin Alsup, sister in law Renee Alsup and stepfather Terry Peavy. Pallbearers
Are Chris Freeman, Justin Freeman, Nick Alsup, Derick Reid, Ben Alsup and Michael Peavy.
Honorary pallbearers are Cecil Reid, Ronnie Freeman, Bill Latham, Johnny Wilson and Kevin Freeman.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 5 to 8pm at the funeral home.
