David Don Anderson, 46, of Hayward, WI formerly of Palo, MN died on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the United in Christ Lutheran Church in Eveleth, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Joel Rova-Hegener will officiate. A Memorial Service will also be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home in Hayward, WI.
David was born on April 8, 1965 in Virginia, MN to Donald and Delores (Lakela) Anderson. He spent most of his childhood in Palo and lived in various towns in Minnesota and Hayward, WI. He graduated from Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School. He recently worked as an Electrical Plant Technician for Louisiana Pacific in Hayward and Trus Joint in Deerwood, MN.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed biking, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and fishing and was a self-taught guitar player. He was known for his wit and humor and loved spending time with his family and friends.
David is survived by his mother Delores Anderson; four siblings, Debbie (Dan) Kleusch of Tower,MN, Donna (Larry) Spielman of Duluth, MN, Dora (Mark) Skerjance of Eveleth, MN, Darlene (Karl) Plattner of Hudson, WI; special friend and companion, Sandy Woerle; his favorite dog, Magii; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Diane and a nephew, Joshua Kleusch.
