I was saddened to hear of Daves passing. Dave and I went to grade school and high school together, and generally hung out together during these times. We lost touch with each other after high school and college however I guess I always hoped we would run into each other again. May he rest in peace now. My prayers to his family. I am so sorry for the loss of your Husband and Dad and Grandfather. I worked with Dave on the production line at Hover-Davis. He was such a nice guy. I was saddened when they let him go. I called him to tell him his clock was still there. Now it makes me sad to know he is gone now, all too soon. May Jesus wrap his arms around all of you with his Love and Peace at this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to hear of David's passing. There were many many happy years of memories from our childhood with the Wilcox and Caswell cousins. The years have gone by so fast. It was comforting to read that David died quietly with family. My Prayers go out to you and your extended family. Dave Wilcox (Ridgefield, CT)

We are so very sorry about Dave. He was a wonderful, wonderful man and we will always cherish our memories from our time together at the Outer Banks, which was probably one of the best vacations we ever took. He will be missed by all and we will keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers. I hope this poem helps you all as much as it helped me when my Mom passed away. I somehow found it very comforting.
Much Love,
Don & Joyce Buchholtz
God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be.
He closed his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to Me".
In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping
So peacefully from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer so again.
So keep your arms around him,
Lord, and give him special care
Make up for all he suffered
And all that seemed unfair.
