On the evening of Father's Day, June 15, 2014, Dr. David Wilson Cheshire passed away. He was comforted by family members and friends at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville at the time of his passing. He was 86 years old. Born in Wilmington, North Carolina on December 30, 1927, he was the youngest of two sons of McKinley and Nina Hall Cheshire.
Our dad graduated from Johannes Guttenburg University (Germany) in 1961 with a Doctor of Medicine.
