Age 54, of Hamilton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2012. He was born in Hamilton on June 23, 1958 to the late John Philpot, Sr. and Dolores (Roberts) Philpot. Deedle worked several jobs and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but he loved his sports above all. Deedle was everybody's buddy and would help anyone that asked if he was able to. He will be truly missed but never forgotten. Deedle is survived by his companion, Vera Whitiker; daughter, Shante Philpot; son-in-law, James Ralston; grandson, Skylar Ralston; sister, Beverly (Jerry) Kellum; brother, John Philpot, Jr.; nephews, Chad and Mike Fry; nieces, Niki and Angie Lusk; life-long friend, Tonya Conner; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, April Dawn Phelps; and nephew and best friend, Jason Webb. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home.
