Diane Marie Ayling, 67, of Marysville, WA, passed away on October 8, 2010 from a massive stroke.
Diane will be greatly missed by her daughter, Donita Borg (Roy); son, Earl (Peggy) Davis; grandson, Riley Borg; brothers, Ivan (Marla) Rimstad and Gary (Mary) Rimstad; sister, Charlene (Gary) Sundseth; and her dear friends, Carol Johnson and Shirley Griffith; plus numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Diane was also a special grandma to Jaimee, Michael and Lindsey; and stepmother to Todd, Teddy and Vickie. She also leaves behind her companion of 14 years, Penny Dog.
Diane was preceded in death by husbands, Richard "Dick" Davis and Ted Ayling, Sr.; her parents, John and Leta Rimstad; and brother, Danny Rimstad.
Diane was a 1961 graduate of Everett High School. She worked for many years both at Bayliner and Reinell Boat companies. She had recently moved back to the Marysville area from Quartzsite, AZ where she had lived for the past several years.
Diane had a huge heart and her biggest joy in life was spending time with family and friends. She loved helping people. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping at thrift stores for treasures, and spending time at the casinos playing the penny slots.
At Diane's request, there will be no services. A family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a future date.
