Dirwin Dean Adams, 77 of Johnstown, passed away at his home on February 16th, 2012. He was born to Irwin and Una Adams on March 31st, 1934 in Chambers, Nebraska. Author of "Thoughts From an Old Highback Saddle," Dirwin loved writing poetry and recounting tales of the Old West. He enjoyed horseback riding, collecting cowboy gear, and making gifts for friends with his leather work. He is preceded in death by son Daniel Adams. He is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Pauline, daughter Rebecca, son-in-law Lee, his grandchildren Steve, Mindy, and Adam with wife Keyla and great-granddaughter Victoria. A Funeral Service will be held at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 2 pm.
