We the family of Dixie Ann (Jones) Banning, wish to announce the passing of our precious Mother, Nana, Sister and friend into the Kingdom on Tuesday, Oct. 4th, 2011 at the Lakeview Village surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thurs. Oct 6th, 2011 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Oct 7th at McGilley & Frye with burial following in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Dixie was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Mildred Jones of Olathe, Kan. Dixie was very much a people person, not only to family and friends, but to any who needed help extending her home to many. Dixie worked many different professions, but found care giving to be the most rewarding and compatible with her loving nature.
Dixie is survived by her sons, Chris and Terry Banning, daughter, Debbie Frost, grandchildren, Lori , Kristy, Justin, Thomas, Andrea, Monty, Colby and Nevada, great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Melody and Serenity, brothers, David, Dennis and Steve Jones and her sister, Linda Pippins.
