Dolores Rivera Aguirre, 87, was called to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 16, 2010. Dolores was a devoted wife, mother to six children, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and mother-in-law. Her sons-in-law considered her the "The Best Mother-In-Law Ever." She was a very proud individual who valued life and never took anyone or anything for granted. She embraced her Hispanic Heritage and the love of her religion. Dolores truly believed in the Power of Prayer and everything it stood for. Dolores appreciated the finer things life had to offer. Dolores was employed at Seton Medical Center working in the Labor & Delivery Department, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. Her love of children was always present, as she spent her retirement years caring for and watching over children of family and friends. You could always count on Dolores to care for those she loved. She cherished every moment she spent with them, that is of course when she was not watching her adored Novellas. In later years, Dolores struggled with many illnesses, but remained a true fighter who held her head high and stayed strong as long as she could. She was never alone. Dolores was unconditionally loved and cared for by a family who will always remember and admire her strength, courage, wisdom, independence, spark, witty humor and her smile…. that lit up any room. She will be missed by all.
Dolores rejoices beside her Heavenly father as she is reunited with her parents, Augustine and Maria de Jesus Rivera; her husband of over 64 years, Trinidad H. Aguirre; and her beloved daughters, Caroline Jawaorski and Susan Aguirre.
Dolores leaves behind those to cherish her memory; son-in-law, Mark Jawaorski; daughter, Mary Louise Aguirre; son, Tito Aguirre; daughter, Dolores Aguirre; daughter, Sandra Treviño & son-in-law, Peter; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and countless special loved ones and friends.

His support for Dolores and his wife, Sandra is a special blessing and will always be remembered. Granddaughters, Annissia and Stephanie for always taking turns supporting their mother and grandmother and helping out anyway they could. The laughter, the stories, as well as the tears we all shared will stay with us forever.
