Dolores Anklam, 89, of Rhinelander, died December 25, 2011 at Alice Haus. Dolores was born November 14, 1922 in Rhinelander, daughter of Ronald and Esther (Cunningham) Anklam. Delores attended St. Mary's Grade School and Rhinelander High School, graduating in 1940. She worked as a housekeeper providing services for families in the Rhinelander area and was a devoted member of the St. Mary's Parrish. Dolores will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews whom she lovely took care of when they were young.
Dolores is survived by her brother Donald (Helen) Anklam of Rhinelander, nephews Tom (Lisa) Anklam of Dublin, CA, Jim (Jane) Anklam of Superior, WI, niece Mary (John) Toppins of Appleton, WI, great nieces and nephews, Alex, Hayley, Anna, Andrew, Jesse(Sara) and Lyndsey and a great, great nephew, Ethan. She was preceded in death by her parents and niece Judi Devereaux.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Nativity of Our Lord (St Mary's Site) at 11:00 AM. with Father John Gerritts officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 until time of service at the church. Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery.
