Dolores Irene Garvey, 83, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at her residence. She was born Sept. 11, 1928, in St. Paul, Minn. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Dolores volunteered at Shannon Medical Center Auxiliary, was a member of the Ladies Lion Club, and was a member of the Bayith Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed spending her time doing word finds. She is survived by her children, Robert Garvey and his wife Betty, Deborah Pope and Steven Garvey and his wife, Laura; grandchildren Christopher Garvey and his wife, Lauren, Justin Garvey and his wife, Alexis, Bradley Beck and his wife, Shanda, Ginger Zachary and her husband, Shawn; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Clara Finley; and multiple nieces and nephews.
