Dolores Koptyra Rosiek of Arlington, Texas passed away May 20, 2012 at the age of 75 after a long illness. Dolores was born November 24, 1936 in New York, New York to Michael and Pearl Koptyra. "Dee" graduated high school in St. Clair Shores, Michigan and started out in nursing and later became an elementary school teacher. She went on to work with the family business, Rosiek Construction Co., Inc., as the Corporate Secretary. Dolores married Richard Dominic Rosiek on June 14, 1958 and they were married 53 years until her passing. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Pearl.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Richard, her brother, Donald Koptyra, two sons, Michael Rosiek and his wife Tanya, Steven Rosiek and his wife Julie, her granddaughters Reagan, Stevie and Rachel, step-granddaughter Alissa, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, May 23, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington, Texas. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 24 at 12:30 pm, officiated by Fr. Phil Petta of St. Matthews Catholic Church, and will also be at Moore Funeral Home.
