Domingo and Julia had a long and loving marriage. He always called Julia his beautiful wife. They enjoyed gardening together and have a beautiful rose garden of over 100 rose bushes. His favorite pastime was shopping where he was always looking for a good deal or the perfect flower. Even after he got ill, he would ride around in the motorized scooter in the stores or shop from home from magazines or the TV. The four of them would go camping at Crater Lake and took a trip to Oaxaxa, Mexico where they have made many memories.
He was a longtime employee of Inland Fruit as a hyster driver where he made many lifelong friends. This is where he received his nickname "Peaches" because he was always walking around eating a peach. It wasn't uncommon for the truck drivers to honk their horns or drop off something at his house when they were passing through. He also was Santa every year at the Inland Christmas party. He retired from Inland Fruit in 2002 after 45 years of employment.
Domingo was a faithful member of the Wapato Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church where he was involved with many church activities and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. His faith kept him strong during his battle of cancer and he overcame many hurdles. Even when he was unable to attend church, Father Shaw and Father Bill would come to his home with his lifelong friend Alan Quantrille to hold mass. He was also an active member of the Eagles.
