Dominic Joseph "Joe" Boudreau, on Wednesday morning February 22, 2012, the world lost one of the last "True Gentlemen". Born Aug 9, 1922 in Waterville, Maine and formerly of Cranston, Joe decided it was time to go "Home" to dance with the love of his life, Kay.
He passed away at home in peace, with love and no pain, in NY with his daughter Karen Boudreau-White and her husband Patrick.
Joe was a lifelong member of the TriTown Rod and Gun Club, Teamster and Veteran who proudly served in the Navy during WW II, seeing action aboard an LST, and also in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was loved by all and anyone who was fortunate to know him.
Dominic was predeceased by his wife Kay, son Paul, parents Richard and Lucille, siblings Catherine Richard and Dennis. In addition to his daughter, he leaves his sisters Marguerite, Teresa, Cecile, and his brother Herman; grandchildren Richard, David and Melanie and all their families remain to live and love in his memory.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:15am in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 am. Graveside burial, with Military Honors to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION FRIDAY 5-8 PM.
