Donna Calabrese, 75, of Fremont, died Saturday evening at Bethesda Care Center where she had been a resident for the last year and a half.
She was born October 7, 1936 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of Robert and Fay (Seles) Fulner. Donna was a homemaker who enjoyed all aspects of art. She has won numerous awards for her ceramics and drawings, most recently winning awards for the Bethesda Art Show. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting and knitting and sharing her passion for art to her numerous art students throughout the years.
Surviving are her children: Adam Calabrese of Bothell, WA, Toni Ann ( Scott) Weber of Sylvania, OH, Dean Calabrese of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: Jayme and Aaron Weber, Emily and Claire Calabrese.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam Calabrese on February 26, 1999; brother, Robbin Fulner; and sister, Becky Farrell.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Bethesda Care Center's Chapel, 600 N. Brush Street, Fremont, Ohio.
