Doretha "Dear" McCree Lee Antoine answered God's calling to a new home and eternal life on August 11, 2011 at the age of 85. She was born October 13, 1925 unto her loving parents the late Mary Gaines McCree Davenport and late Mack McKinley McCree. Doretha entered into holy matrimony with the late Lloyd Lee Sr. and the late Septine Antoine. She leaves to honor and cherish her memory her children, Josie Coleman of Houston, and Bruce Lee (Renée); Step-son, Lloyd Lee, Jr.; three sisters: Mary B. Balls of Houston, Emma Lee Thomas, and Brenda J. Kernell; One Aunt, Elenore Bickham (George); a devoted niece, Missionary Renée L. Davenport and nephew, Clarence M. Wilson, San Francisco; 11 Grandchildren; Jerome, Iris, Andre, Brenlika, Bruceta, Zyeta, Zykeia, Bruce Jr., Re'Jeanne, Renette and Byron. 14 Great Grandchildren; Andrew'nya, Andrew'nahi, Bruce III, Jacob, Regan, Rashaud, Ray'shel, Reion, Roshawn, Reina, Ray'Jeanea, Byron III, Christopher and Chase, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives, Friends of the family, and Maison Deville Nursing Home, are invited to honor her memory by attending the funeral service on Friday, August 19, 2011 at My Redeemer M.B.C., 2829 Washington Ave., at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Sha'Teek A. Nobles, Sr. Officiating. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Professional Services Entrusted to Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home.
