Doris Geraldine "Gerry" Anderson,
86, of Indianapolis passed away on December 28, 2012. She was born September 23, 1926 in Evansville, Indiana to Orville and Colleta (Butcher) Gough. Before she was married she was an auditor for the IRS. Gerry was proud to be a long time eastsider of Indianapolis and was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Women Club and Knights of Columbus Gerry is survived by her children Mary J (Steve), Ragsdale, Eileen A. (Larry) Sexson, Kathleen K. ( Russell) West, brothers Carl (Mary) Gough and Don (Chris) Gough, daughters-in-law, Diane Anderson, Mary Ellen Sexson, grandchildren Brian (Nancy), David, Doug Ledgerwood, Josh (Stephanie), Nick (Kara) Ragsdale, Nikki (Kenny) White, Brianna, Tyler Sexson, Kaitlyn (Josh) Allison, David West and great grandchildren Dillon, Megan, Madison, Colton, Sam, Marley, Ellie, Todd, Torin, Lilly, Alex and Hunter. She is preceded in death by her husband William E. Anderson a Pulitzer Prize Winner, children David O, Susan M. and William M. Anderson, great grandson Peyton Ragsdale, brother Paul Dale Gough. Funeral services will be Thursday January 3, 2013 at 9:30 at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary followed by al Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Little Flower Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday January 2 from 3 – 8 pm at the mortuary. Gerry will be remember as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was always there to love and support her family.
