Doris E. Armstrong, 87, passed away on October 31, 2012. She is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Nancy Edwards; husband, Vincent E. Armstrong; daughter, Virginia Cardno; and brother, Cecil Edwards.
She is survived by her daughter, Marylee Strong; son-in-law, Jim Cardno; grandchildren, John Strong and wife, Laura, Teresa Strong, and Nanci Cole and husband, Nathan; two great-grandchildren, Stella Cole and Jennifer Strong; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Edwards.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
