ALLEN, Dorothy Mae (Whitesides) of East Boston. October 31, 2012. At the age of 66. Dorothy passed away at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett. Born in Rutherfordton, N.C. She worked for the V.A. Hospital for many years. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband the late Israel Allen Jr. She is survived by her loving aunt Dorothy Hunt of East Boston and by many more loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be held in the Rapino Memorial Home, 9 Chelsea St. (Maverick Sq.) EAST BOSTON on Wednesday November 7th at 10am. The family will receive visitors prior to the services from 9-10 a.m. Services will conclude with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston.
