Dorothy Andrews, 87, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011.
Funeral: 4 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Interment: at a later date in Highland Memorial Park in Mount Carmel, Ill. Visitation: The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dorothy loved going to church; she attended Open Arms Fellowship. She enjoyed knitting and cooking.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrews; mother, Eva Mae Satterfield; father, Clifford Aldridge; stepfathers, Virgil Widlt and Luther Satterfield; and sister, Montie Marie Mercier.
Survivors: Daughter, Jane Sager Voigt and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Ashley Voigt and Brian Voigt and wife, Claudia; great-grandchild, Matthew Austin Voigt, all of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
