Dorothy "Grandma Dot" Buehner Barnett, 87, formerly of Louisville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL.
She was a retired savings counselor for Great Financial Federal and a member of Valley View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Barnett.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Helms; granddaughter, Cindy Redmond (Joe); grandson, Jerry Helms (Deanna); great-grandchildren, David, Jacob, Erin, and Cody; and great-great-grandchildren, Hayden and Cohen.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 pm Thursday.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
