Dorothy Lea Hinton Barr,83, of Fairdale, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012. She was a retired cook at Jerry's Restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dora & Roscoe Hinton & sister, Mary Barr.
Survived by her daughters, Doris Snawder (Ken), Jan Arnold, sons, Davis (Helen) & Charles (Janice) Barr, grandchildren, Daryl, Bereica, Greg, Charlie, John & Lorie, 13 great grandchildren, sisters, Betty Gortney, Edith Hutchens (Roger), Alma Oakley (Bob), brother, Roscoe Hinton, Jr. (Shirley).
Funeral services will be 10AM Monday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday.
