Dorothy Allen Bartlome, age 74, of Drexel, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. She was born the daughter of the late Ariel Allen and Edith Howell Allen on June 17, 1938 in Caribou County, Idaho. Dorothy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed gardening. She was a loving mother, sister and friend. Dorothy will be greatly missed.
Along with her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Allen Bartlome, a daughter; Patricia Ikenberry; a brother, Ray Allen; and a sister, Glenys Chandler.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include a son, Vince Bartlome of Hickory; a sister, Linda Roberts of Montpelier, Idaho; a son-in-law, John Ikenberry of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister-in-law, Carol Allen of Soda Springs, Idaho; and a special friend, Wut Pimsen of Hickory. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff of Autumn Care of Drexel and Burke Hospice and Palliative Care for all their outstanding care and support.
