Mrs. Dorothy L. Beasley, age 72 of Byron, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011.
Mrs. Beasley was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Frances Long, brother Charles and sister Shirley. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years Mr. John Beasley, daughter Donna Brawn of Pensacola, FL; sons Phillip Brawn and Charles Brawn, both of Dallas, GA; grandchildren Adam Brawn and wife Lisa, Ellen Wilder and husband Aaron; 4 great-grandchildren, and her cherished pet poodle Sally May.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Pastor Darryl Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-9pm on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
