Dorothy (Sylvia) Campbell of North Andover formerly of New Bedford died Monday, March 29, 2010 in Lawrence General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederick M. Campbell.
She was born in New Bedford the daughter of the late Fortuna and Mary (Angel) Sylvia and a graduate of New Bedford High School. Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and has been a resident of North Andover for 40 years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, cooking and reading.
She is survived by a nephew Robert Freitas of Fairhaven; two great nieces, Pamela Martin and her husband John of Fairhaven and Catherine Freitas; a great nephew Robbie Freitas both of Rochester and five great-great-nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 9am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT FAIRLAWN 180 Washington St., Fairhaven, MA followed by her funeral mass at 10am in St. Joseph's Church 78 Spring St., Fairhaven, MA.
