Dorothy Jane Gardner, 76 went home to the Lord December 26, 2012.
Dorothy was born November 26, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio and resided in Virginia Beach for more than thirty years. She was Catholic by faith and attended Ascension Catholic Church and Church of The Holy Apostle. She was a member of the Aragona Moose Lodge #684 for twenty-four years and the Fraternal Order of The Eagles #3204.
Survivors include six children: Carol Hilliard and husband John, Jane Lynn Grim and husband Rich Gardner, John David McIntosh and wife Teresa, Steven Scott McIntosh and wife Diane, Robert Howard McIntosh and wife Claudia, Paula Thompson and husband Tommy and five step children. She was the proud Grandmother to nineteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
