On October 25, 2011, Douglas McArthur Adkins, 69, beloved father of Dodie Hertzog and her husband Robert, Rebecca Ditmore and her fiancé Mark Sagosz; dear grandfather of Stephen Schott, Jake Hertzog, Jenna Hertzog and Alyson Ditmore; dear brother of Audra Thompson, Dorothy Owens, Inez Pennington and the late Polly Deal all from Huntington, West Virginia; and James Adkins of Plant City, FL and Virgil Adkins also of Huntington, West Virginia and survived by his cherished friend Deborah Rezek.
