Douglas John Allen, 66, of Charlotte died Friday, November 13, 2009 at his home.
A native of San Francisco, CA, Mr. Allen was born to the late Carl Raymond Allen and Mary Povlsen Allen on November 29, 1942. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Allen is survived by his daughters; Donna Gray of Las Vegas, NV, Lori Allen of California, son; Glenn Allen of Arizona, brother, Paul Allen of Charlotte, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 3:00p.m., Sunday, November 22 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., with Stephen Minister, Robert L. Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
