Douglas Roy "Doug" Anderson, 60, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away the 28th of February, 2010 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be held at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, followed by interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Mr. Anderson was born June 15, 1949 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was married for 28 years to Peggy Anderson. He had three children and one grandchild. He was happily employed at Window World for the last eight years as a salesman. He was Salesman of the Month several times. He was a graduate of Rockhurst High School (1967) and attended the University of Kansas. He was preceded by his father James E. Anderson in 1998 and his mother Virginia (Nulty) Anderson in 2009. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife Peggy J. (Parks) Anderson; his three children Jeremy, Hilary and James; his brother James E. Anderson II; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
