A memorial service celebrating the life of Ean Joshua “Sarge” Whitten, 4 months, of College Station will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, at Central Baptist Church in College Station. A visitation for family and friends will follow the service until 1 p.m. Pastor Chris Osborne will officiate.
Jesus welcomed Ean into his loving arms on November 29, 2012. Ean joined our family on July 27, 2012. As a healthy 8 pound, 8 ounce baby boy we instantly fell in love with his bright blue eyes and chubby cheeks. We showered him with hugs and sugary kisses as we danced to his favorite song “Pontoon.” Ean’s smile would light up your heart and you could feel his joy and happiness of being surrounded by his family. Ean’s brothers and sisters truly loved spending time with him.
Ean loved watching football with his brother Braeden, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with his brother Coby. He spent many hours playing pat-a-cake with his sister Addison and snuggling tight with his sister Dacey. We looked forward to each morning as Ean greeted us with his beautiful smile. He waited eagerly to be held so he could share his sweet hugs and kisses. His time with us cannot be measured in days but by the tremendous impact he made. Ean strengthened our faith, blessed
our family, and uplifted our hearts with his love. We never anticipated his short time with us but we know the memories we made will last a lifetime. Thank you Ean for the love, the smiles, the joy, the kisses, the fun, the hugs, and the laughter. We will love you forever. Thank you God for blessing our family and letting us “borrow” Ean for the time we had. We know he is holding hands with Pop as Jesus cradles him.
Ean was preceded in death by Gary Whitten “Pop.”
