Earl T. Allanson, 61, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Kindred Hospital Melbourne, Florida.
Earl was born in Winchester, Virginia. He was a graduate of Merritt Island High School. After graduating he moved to Virginia for Approximately 40 years. He retired as a subcontractor three years ago and moved back to Brevard County January 2011.
Earl was a member of the National Rifle Association. Hunting and fishing were his favorite past times.
Earl is survived by his daughter, Mellissa Dawn Allanson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; son, Dennis Earl Allanson of Roanoke, Virginia; step-son, Kenneth Sledd and his wife Cyndi of Blue Ridge, Virginia; mother and father, Edna A. and Malcolm Phipps of Cocoa, Florida; brother, Merle Carter Allanson of Cassadaga, Florida; step-sisters, Donna Phipps and Arlene Phipps; step-brother, Charles Phipps; grandchildren, Emanuel Thomas Ruff, Paula Gracie Allanson, Brittany Puckett, Kelsey Rae Sledd, Kayla Sledd and Klaudia Sledd.
A Memorial Service was held 3 PM Monday, December 3, 2012 at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home.
