Kendall-
Earl C. Fitzwater "Woe", 86, formerly of Albion died at Lakeside Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Hartland, West Virginia, the son of Hoy and Josie Fitzwater and has lived in this area since 1959. He worked at Flower City Tissue in Rochester for many years before his retirement in 1959. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, raising chickens and taking care of his dog Scooby.
Earl was predeceased by wife, Birdie Marie Fitzwater; a son, Delana Summers; 7 brothers and sisters. He is survived by children, James (Brenda) Summers of Kent, Ardith (James) Jett of Batavia, Linda Fletcher of Albion, Patricia (John) Jett of Kent, Virginia "Alice" (John Fitch) Jett of Holley, David (Marie) Fitzwater of Kent, Judy Mann of Kendall, Clara Moyer of Albion, Phyllis (Lee) Albertson of Albion, Randy Fitzwater of Lockport; numerous Grandchildren, especially William & David Fitzwater who lived with Earl; Great and Great Great Grandchildren; Nieces, Nephews and his beloved dog Scooby.
Family and friends may call on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 1-2pm at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 12 Ingersoll St., Albion where services will follow at 2pm. Interment will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery in the spring. Pastor Linda Haight will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lollypop farm , 99 Victor Road; Fairport, NY 14450.
