HAUGHTON, LA – Graveside services for Rev. Earl David Roderick, 84, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Earl Taylor and Dr. Randy Harper.
Mr. Roderick was born on July 15, 1928, and entered into his reward on Thursday morning, May 2, 2013. Earl has been a minister and served the Lord since the youthful age of 16 years, pastoring throughout Louisiana. He served his country as Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era.
Mr. Roderick was preceded in death by his parents, Earl L. Roderick and Ethel (McMicken) Roderick; and his sister, Joan Roach. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Mrs. Robbie (Dyke) Roderick; daughter, Mary Young and husband, Reginald; sons, Robert Roderick and wife, Beverly, and Michael Roderick and wife, June; grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle and Victoria Roderick, Lauren St. Clair and Krystal Luna; and great-grandchildren, Jayson Luna, Jr. and Jacob Luna.
