Moss Bluff - Earline Carpenter Boullion, 87, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on October 2, 2010, in a local hospital.
She was a graduate of Iowa High School. She was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff and was devoted to the rosary and her great love for the Blessed Mother. She was a charter member of the St. Theodore Altar Society. Previously, she was a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of St. Hubert Parish. She was a volunteer and member of many different organizations, along with her husband of 67 years, Wilfred Boullion. Together they belonged to Jean Lafitte Campers, the V.F.W., the St. Theodore Knights of Columbus, MSGR. Cramers Assembly 4th Degree Knights, ect.
In the years that their children were in school, they volunteered for, helped, and supported all of the school and athletic organizations that their children belonged to. Their family life and spiritual life was of major importance to them.
Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. H.V. Carpenter, and her grandson, David Boullion. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Sue) Boullion of Moss Bluff, Kenneth (Cookie) Boullion of Sulphur and Martha (Tim) Vogel of Bowling Green, KY. Her grandchildren are Chris (Jenny) Boullion, Russell (Meredith) Boullion, Tony Boullion, Todd (Tori) Boullion, Hollie (Travis) Miller, Nancy (David) Benskin, and Kim (Rob) Seichter. She also has 10 great grandchildren and one expected in December. She is also survived by a brother, Semien Carpenter.
Her Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 5th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff. Msgr. Charles DuBois will be the celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, at Hixson's Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday until the time of the funeral. The scripture service will be at 6:00 p.m. and rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
