Edna Austin, 79, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born July 6, 1933, in Evansville.
She was a member of Keck Avenue Baptist Church. Edna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She worked at Jerry's Market and Kmart Foods. She loved her flowers and traveling with family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Snow, second husband, Jack Austin, 2 grandsons, 7 siblings, and parents, Mary and George Osborn.
Edna is survived by sons Richard Snow (Darlenea) and David F. Snow; daughters Barbara Kincade (Richard) and Kim Abshagen (Chuck); step-daughter, Debra Scott; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, July 20, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, July 19, 2012, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
