Edward Calvin Ball, 75, of Marion passed away Wednesday, September 01, 2010 at his residence. He was born on November 30, 1934 in Madison County to the late Straley Ball and Lavadie Kent Ball. He was a member of the Marion Moose Lodge and active with the McDowell Senior Center.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ball is preceded in death by two wives, Wilma Jean Sandefur, and Ina Ball; brothers & sisters, Joe, Lucy, Ruby, Lester, Paul, Addy, Hoover, Harley, Straley P. Ball
He is survived by special friend, Margie Boyd; daughters, Lana Dykstra of Marion, Brenda Granger of Michigan; grandchildren, Chelsea, Matthew, Everett, Vadie, Yvonne; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Bud, Marshall; sisters, Beulah of Hendersonville, Clara of Ohio, Sally of Fletcher
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in McCall Memorial Chapel in Marion with Paul Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will be in Murphy's Chapel Cemetery.
